Stewpot Volunteer Work by Giddens Law Firm, PA
As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to the Jackson community, this past year we decided to join Chhabra and Gibbs’ P.A. in a Thanksgiving week effort to provide local residents in need with a Thanksgiving Day meal.
Together with volunteers from Chhabra and Gibbs, Mr. Giddens and an associate of ours went to the local Stewpot Kitchen in the days leading up to Thanksgiving and handed out turkeys, apples, and other items needed to create a Thanksgiving Day meal to those without the means to obtain these foods on their own.
By contributing to this effort, we were able to help Stewpot employees and other volunteers in serving the greatest number of people as possible. This kind of work allows us to enrichen the lives of those less fortunate and promote a renewed sense of community in the Jackson area, and we are always seeking new opportunities to give back!
