WARREN COUNTY, MS. (July 21, 2025) – A 48-year-old Yazoo County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on MS-3 South near U.S. 61 during the early morning hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. when Robert Saxton of Yazoo, Mississippi, was driving a 2005 GMC Yukon southbound on MS-3. The vehicle ran off the roadway and collided into a ditch.
Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Saxton received fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
