GEORGE COUNTY, MS (March 18, 2025) – One person has died after an accident with a Freightliner semi-trailer truck in George County on March 16.
According to local authorities, the crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. in George Count. A 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee was heading east on Highway 98 when it ran into a 2018 Freightliner, also heading east.
The driver of the Jeep had died at the scene. Two passengers inside the Jeep were taken to the hospital after suffering injuries and are in stable condition.
