AMITE COUNTY, MS. (April 18, 2025) – Amite County deputies announced a man was arrested in connection to an ATV crash that killed a 10-year-old boy on April 6, 2025.
The incident occurred on Old 24 Compromise Road between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. The victim, a 10-year-old boy, was on an ATV when he was hit by a truck.
The suspect was arrested the day of the incident after leaving the scene of an accident, which he was charged with a felony for doing. He was also charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
