NFL Concussion Settlement Updates

Players First Program

The Giddens Law Firm is accepting new clients for representation in the NFL Concussion Claims, and is providing its current clients with the opportunity to be tested in our Players First Program.

    • The Players First Program will provide testing by Non-NFL selected physicians, and has made arrangements that the required testing could be conducted without upfront payment by the players being tested, and with travel expenses covered in some instances.

    • For those players who test in the Players First Program our team of board certified physicians will review prior medical records, and conduct thorough neurological and neuro-psychological testing to determine if a compensable diagnosis exists.

    • The Players First Program will submit any diagnosis of ALS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, or Neurocognitive Deficits (Dementia 1.5 or 2.0) diagnoses.

Former Texas Longhorn quarterback Colt McCoy took a vicious hit to the head in his game Thursday night. But he was put back in just two plays later.

It is obvious that something is terribly wrong. We hope to give players a way to make things right.

The Giddens Firm is in no way associated with the National Football League.
